Shelf Life at PS Mirabel & axisweb #Five2Watch

Goodness me, two bits of good news in one day!

This week, within a few hours, I found out that I have had three paintings selected for Shelf Life at PS Mirabel and that I’ve been selected as one of axisweb’s #Five2Watch.

I’m totally chuffed!

As it’s about a month until the British Art Show 8 comes to Leeds, axisweb have been looking at some Leeds artists. They’ve profiled Paul Digby, Gareth Griffiths, Christopher Hall, Juliet MacDonald and myself.

Obviously I’m hoping that this will raise the profile of Leeds artists with visitors to the city who are coming for the BAS8.

PS Mirabel is an artist-run space in Manchester, and I’m really pleased to have my paintings selected for Shelf Life. I’m exhibiting three abstract works. All the work in this show is small and will be displayed on a shelf.

There is a competition where one artist will be selected from the show to win £200 and a solo show at PS Mirabel in 2016. Keeping my metaphorical fingers crossed!

You are invited to the Shelf Life opening party which will be on Thursday September 10th, 6-9pm! After that the show runs until October 30th. The gallery/project space is open on Saturdays only BUT you can make an appointment with PS Mirabel to view it outside of these times.
