Hi,
My painting Bag of Rock is on show at Redcar Palace’s Grand Old Open exhibition which opens Saturday 11th November at 11:30am.
The exhibition features 30 artists, and (as far as I know) it runs until January 2024. Redcar is on the North East coast, near to where I grew up, and the gallery is really friendly and nice. So if you fancy a bracing visit to the seaside and a lemon top ice cream/bag of chips, head to Redcar. Or as we say in the NE ‘Red-keh’.

I’ll be taking part in Manchester Art Fair this year, represented by The Art Court alongside 8 other artists.

Tickets are on sale at £10 for the weekend and £25 for the Preview – but you can get free tickets by emailing curator@theartcourt.co.uk – Free tickets! Yay! They are limited in supply, so get in there quick.
A catalogue will be available from November 13th, and I will be sending that out asap. The other participating artists, represented by The Art Court are:
Michelle Duxbury
Andy Edwards
Hondartza Fraga
Jonathan Hooper
Phill Hopkins
Lorna Johnson
Sarah Roberts
and Courtney Spencer

| You can find The Art Court at stand 309. There are so many exhibitors to see, https://www.manchesterartfair.co.uk/exhibitor-list#Galleries so you can really make it part of a day out in Manchester. I’ll be dropping by over the weekend (and probably fit in a trip to the People’s History Museum too!). The Manchester Art Fair is held at Manchester, Central Windmill Street, M2 3GX (interestingly, it used to be a train station, but is now a conference centre). It’s 20 minutes walk from Manchester Victoria Station and also 20 minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly. For more information on getting there and accessibility please see https://www.manchesterartfair.co.uk/venue-information-for-visitors |
| Thanks for reading! All the best,Helen |
